Kamila Pawlik

Kamila PawlikKamila was born and raised in Krakow, Poland, Eastern Europe. Her passion for film and media, and interest in art, led her to co-creating an independent movie association, taking part in various movie competitions, and eventually getting into a 5- year Master's Program in Film and Media at the Jagiellonian University in Poland. During the third year of college, Kamila, a movie critic to be, decided to broaden her horizons and master her professional skills. She was accepted for a 3 - year bachelor program in Journalism at the same university. During her college period, Kamila came out as an independent writer for "Przekroj" magazine, a well-known national weekly. In 2001 Kamila was a "Przekroj" reporter for a Camerimage Film Festival in Lodz. There, among others, she met and interviewed John Malkovich and Joel Coen. In March of 2006 Kamila started her freelance cooperation with the RGJ. In her free time, Kamila watches movies, reads, travels, and takes pictures.
